Qu’est-ce qu’une retraite spirituelle?

A spiritual retreat is a pause for the heart and the mind. It is a favorable time to:

  • Rest, breathe, and find comfort in the midst of our busy lives,
  • Encounter God in silence, read His Word, and renew one’s faith,
  • Reflect on the meaning of life and step back before making important decisions,
  • Deepen understanding of the great questions of life and better understand the foundations of the Christian faith.

A spiritual retreat marks a break from daily routine.

The environment, which is conducive to interior reflection, and the rhythm of the retreat help one become more available to oneself and to God.

Duration of a retreat: The retreat lasts six days.

Retreats generally begin on Sunday evening and end on Saturday after Mass and breakfast.

We kindly ask you to arrive from 4:00 PM on the day the retreat begins. Everyone is expected to participate in the retreat from beginning to end and to live it in silence.

Fundamental retreat: answers the major questions of today and offers a coherent vision of faith and Christian life.

Themed retreats: focus on a specific aspect of the Christian faith.

Other possibilities

We can also offer the following services:

Individual retreat (for priests and consecrated persons); prayer weekends, recollection days, desert days, spiritual accompaniment, and listening time.
