What is a Foyer de Charité?

The Foyers de Charité are an international Catholic organization that offers spiritual retreats focused on Christian formation, open to everyone, whether believers or not. Founded in 1936, under the inspiration of Marthe Robin and Father Georges Finet, the Foyers are present in around forty countries and welcome more than 50,000 people each year.

In 1986, the Pontifical Council for the Laity recognized the Work of the Foyers de Charité as an international association of the faithful of pontifical right.
